Twilight Of Our Youth Poem by Jinge Norvall

Twilight Of Our Youth

Hours slipping by, days speeding past,
Weeks & months whirling,
As giddy moments die.
Brief, fiery shooting stars
Lights that fade too soon -
Some perhaps unnoticed
In the cosmic evening's gloom..
Apportioned fleeting moments
In which we are to shine -
Make it count, Dear Lord above -
Before the evening 's done.
Our chance to light
Some deep dark night
Before our fire is gone - O Lord, to make a difference,
In the twilight of Our youth.
