Twilight Poem by John Carter Brown

Twilight

Rating: 5.0

As daylight dies,
And evening draws it's
Raven-shaded cloak across the land;
When creatures far and nigh
Obey the call to lie, and understand;
Then falls the drowsy twilight,
With it's somnolent request for sleep,
That soon defaults to a command.

... and the older I get, the more it commands. Very good one John.
