Turning The Clock Back Poem by Ashley burnam

Turning The Clock Back

Rating: 5.0

Turning the clock back
minute to hour
I would redo all that i have done
if only you would smile again.

I would never have said the things i said
never would have done the things i've done.

Turning the clock back
I would have made it to you party
i would have bought you that gift
If only you would stand with me again.

I would never have said the things i said
Never would have done the things that i done.

The clock chimes the hour
where back where we are
im still sitting in the upturned car.
Im sorry!
For what i've never done.

I would never have said the things i said
Never would have doe the things that i done
if only you would stay my friends
the best one.

The clock Chimes the hour....... I like that line, and like what you did to this piece of work.... it flows very easy and gives the reader a little mystery and then boom, the story unfolds..... How very good...... A 10! ! Bonnie
