Ashley burnam Poems

Shadows whisper in the dark of the night
Babies cry out in fright
They are afraid and only one thing
will wisk it all away.
...

Sitting in my family’s cabin,
Stitching away at cloth.
My brother’s play, my mother prays,
My father shines his gun.
...

Dancing dancing,
swaying my hips.
You wish you could see
the butterfly tattoo
...

Looking upon a cloaded Castle
over the sea's of my sins
I can still see you.
...

Spinning, spinning, spinning
This world is a blur.
I close my eyes as i continue to whirl.
...

Rain thunders down and the warm july day
The girl sits infront of the bus Depot
not sure what to say
She had done so wrong how could they
...

I can not and I will not
Say goodbye forever.
Tear’s run down my face,
Black and red and blue for you
...

Fighting hard
Turn left, jab to the right!
Lot f reasons im out here tonight.
...

Star litter the sky
Child are out to play tonight.
Its Samian,
all's hollow eve.
...

Turning the clock back
minute to hour
I would redo all that i have done
if only you would smile again.
...

Birds twittered happily everywhere
Unknowing the child of prophecy was born.
Hair the color of crow feathers
And skin as white a snow
...

Coming to the conclusion

Of life and death
...

Emo love is the only love

that i happily grace with a hug.
...

Laughing
knowing something i dont.
Treating me as if i where a child.
NO MORE!
...

Flashing light,
moving fast.
A teenage girl sits in the back seat.
...

I am no more a poet
than you are the man people call savior.
I use pencil, papers
Simples tools people can use and get.
...

Better...
paint roses on my face
and bury my deep in the ground.
Cause you wont uproot me,
...

Flying high in the sky
Where only an eagle can be free.
A blazing star shines through the cloads.
People look up at the far away heart.
...

Spinning on my toe,
Quickly, round and round i go.
My ankles are bleeding but i dont care.
My courage is gone, leaving only despair.
...

Slashing and lunging
Attacking in a flash of the moment
Blood on my hands
your fear is in my hands.
...

A Mothers Lullaby

Shadows whisper in the dark of the night
Babies cry out in fright
They are afraid and only one thing
will wisk it all away.

A mothers lullaby,
sung in sweet whispers.

A mothers lullaby
Accompanied by the rocking chair.

A mothers lullaby
as loving as can be.
It scares away the nightmares
Makes the path for dreams to come easily

A Mothers Lullaby...
