tum hi to ho

shamo sehar, aatho pehar
jo dhoonde nazer
wo tum hi to ho

haatho main haath
chale mere saath
mere humsafar
tum hi to ho

dukh o ya sukh
baat lete hain aadha
agar ho koyee ghum
to dete hain kandha

jinpe mere iss dil ko
yakee hain
hai saath chalne ka jinka iraada

mera andaz meree parwaz, meree awaz tum hi to ho

shamo sehar..........

sab se chupa ke main rakhta hoon khudko
mager wo hai ki jaan leta hai mujhko

bhale iss jnha ko na mujhpe yakeen ho
magar wo hai ki maan leta hai mujhko

meree har baat, mere jazbaat, mere hum raz tum hi to ho

shamo sehar........

sang sang hain dekhy humne savery
sang sang hain dekhy kaale andhere

bhala zindigee main tu tanha ho kaise
tu aage hai to
main bhi peechy hoon tere

mera wo junoon, mera har sukoon, merey wo yaar tum hi to ho

shamo sehar.........

Poem of the Day

poet Charles Stuart Calverley

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
