Try Hard Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Try Hard

You See

You see, I liked to play and play
But the rest of the world did work and work.
But I played the entire day
Because I liked to play.

You see, one day I lost control
Of who I was or what I did.
Playing around did not
Suit someone like me.

So I worked and worked.
I worked all day.
I never stopped
But that did not suit me.

One day, I decided to
Work and play.
When I decided to do both
The work and play filled my day.
