Trust Poem by Lexy Breit

Trust is like glass
When it is broken it can be sealed
But when the light shines through
You can still see the cracks
Making you pull away from this light
Not wanting to see those cracks that almost shattered you
Afraid that the smallest hit will break the glass and everything it contains
You can't stop it from happening
Suddenly the glass crashes down
No warning
You are broken
Forced to pick up the pieces
Gluing them back together
Becoming one once again
Praying that the glass will no longer fall
