Trust Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Trust

Dharma emeralds with green essence
We glean our wisdom cleansed
Monastery where silence has eyes
Scottish Highlands where rain sighs
Her Zen doorways have no corridors
Rivers flow with blissful surprise
Connections are the currents of life
See the lotus shine in the moonlight
Rubies glisten like a cutting knife
Gold dust rises in the placid dream
Your fate is in the hands of honor
Every hour stands awakened
Every flower beckons the soul
Eternity is a step at a time
Let love bloom today without fear
Roots go deep into the sky

I am the dappled rain ringing her bells
We meld like olive branches in the sun
Trust an azure haven where rivers flow
Slowly we merge into the wet dew
New foundations built upon the rock
The loss of control is loves doors
Vulnerable newborn kittens
Let the breeze whisper her name
I eat the daily bread and the new wine
Warmth brings a fire of heavenly words
We blossom in one another’s arms
Born of years of longing and loneliness
Now prayer guides the bride of lilies
True friends pray for one another
We laugh and cry like sweet lovers
Trust climbs the lofty stairs
