i am what i am
but there is so much more to me
and you are not capable of discovering
what i hide underneath
the fake smile i put on
fools you all the time
you would've realized it sooner,
if you were truly mine..
i never wanted your feelings
to be sympathetic
i just wish you would've
respected my ethics,
i cooperated but you were always so obtuse
every time i tried to talk you would make up an excuse..
