True Friends Poem by Emma Wright

True Friends

Rating: 5.0

The love of friendship is rare,
Worth its weight in gold,
I feel that I want to be with you again,
Just to laugh with you,
And cry with you,
Because i know you are my friend,
And I know that you care,
I feel that we share a true friendship,
And I know you feel it too,
Such friends I have few of,
But I realise they are irreplacable,
I wish you could stay here,
But you must leave,
You also have your home,
And other friends to go to,
Over the oceans, the seas,
15 thousand kilometers,
It is nothing to the heart,
And everything at the same time,
Friends forever my friend,
I will never forget you.
