True Feelings Poem by Emy Luvsnyancat

True Feelings

I must confess
What I feel inside
The feelings I'm unable
To properly hide.

I feel lost and confused,
I can't understand
Why I want to be with you
To feel the real warmth of your hand.

Thinking about you
Causes my heart to ache
I want to speak to you
To again discuss cake.
For trivial matters hide the truth
Even though it's probably considered uncouth
I think I love you, dear Internet stranger.
But I am terrified
Of the possible danger.

I don't know what you look like,
Nor who you are.
I only know your first name
And that you live far.

But your personality is delightful,
That much is true.
For the long time we've known each other,
I think I'm falling for you.

We Skype, we chat.
We frolic happily through Spawn
We talk 'till late hours
When I struggle to hold back an ungraceful yawn.

Thinking about you just fills me with glee
Sometimes I desperately wish
That you could meet me.

I know I'm not perfect, that much is true
But I'm content living in my virtual world
With only me and you.
