Troglodyte Poem by Atty. Catherine SisonPariño

Troglodyte

Caverns deep,
shadows dance,

Troglodyte prowls,
Dim expanse.

Stone echoes,
Tell tales untold,

Primal whispers,
Secrets bold.

Cold and damp,
Rocky lair,

Troglodyte's ancient,
Silent prayer.

Stony veins,
Heartbeat slow,

Darkness instincts,
Start to grow.

Ember eyes,
Burning bright,

Black ignited,
Primal light.

Subterranean realm,
It roams,

A troglodyte,
Creature of ancient homes.

The depths,
Sparked gleam,

A troglodyte's,
Forgotten dream.

Rising above,
Subterranean night,

Glimpse the world,
Bathed in daylight.

Troglodyte
