Resound to greet
With accolades galore
The thirsty mind
Within the thirsty body.
Exhumed and desiccated
Lying on the threshold
Of altering changes.
Calmness resonates
Through the blinding rays
Of petrified vulnerable eyes.
Time stands still
Moves not an inch
Trying to hold down the foe.
Wisdom triumphs
Letting out a veiled laughter
Walking beyond the façade
To embrace the vicissitudes
Of elusive reality.
