Trip To Narnia Poem by sania harris

Trip To Narnia

With sluggish eyes I went to bed
Woke up the next day and said
“Where am I, oh scenic land?
What deed I did to be this grand? ”
Peter, the high king and Edmund the second
The high queen, Susan, not there I reckon
But cute little Jill and stunning queen Lucy
Along with brave little Eustace having tea
Said “Welcome son of Adam, welcome to Narnia”

The greenest grass on earth was dull
And the juiciest grape fruit dry
The sweetest strawberry was sour
All compared to Narnia.
No dreams here are untold
No lie here hidden
Such charming hills never were seen
There, I wanted to die, if I was ever to be
Such a pleasant place, never to be seen
