Tremor And Tremble Poem by Piccola Topo Gigio

Tremor And Tremble

Rating: 5.0

It feels like a blow to my stomach,
Yet without the external pain.
It feels softer,
Yet the impact is stronger.

A chill in the back of the head.
Like when you drank, without end,
Knowing it's the foretaste of a spell.
Yet it's gone, before it becomes this spell.

Quickly making itself a way through the back,
Pausing on the lowest part of my neck.
Squeezing, cold.

An emotional hollow.
A strong shiver that thrusts,
Or would allow,
Everything out of my guts.

Making my entire body feel cold,
Suddenly.
Ice cold.

The sensation of falling into empty space,
Some sort of unfamiliar yet familiar,
Fatal staircase.

The insides hurt, the mind hurts; the heart spurts.
What about tomorrow.
How will I survive so much sorrow?

And the body protests, the mind refuses and the heart growls.
Stop! Please stop! ...
No more, please.

Stop....
