Tracks Of My Life Poem by David Harris

The tracks I leave behind are hidden
for future generations to find.
Hidden within a facade of words
that sprout up like new shoots
from this mind of mine.
My life is there for all to see,
the triumphs and the failures
against adversity.
The happiness and sadness
that plagues our daily lives,
the joyful tears and the sorrows pain.
They are all spelt out
within the words I write.
A little bit of me
inherits everything I do.
Therefore, if you read between the lines
you will find them there
all the tracks I leave behind.
