Towers Poem by Ricky Lewis

Towers

The golden sheen, the cosmic needle crashes
Intertwine the fabric of existence once more
The aural thread built around solar empires,
Diesel powered almighty creator

The furnaces and globes that dance around their fathers
An eloquent display of might and knowledge beyond our grasp
A black forge of life and death, the churning roar of birth
Galactic specter flows like acidic dust, a wayfarer collects

The rand room, the coagulate, where stars and space unite
The grandest structure wrought from rock and iron
Built to reach their own creator from a plane beyond conception
An infinite cycle to discover from where they derive
