Totally Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Totally

Totally

I want to, live like then
Have chickens and have hens.

I miss them and love them
Ram and sheep, children

I want to eat melon
Seeds, skin, share with them.

I want fruit from trees
Or fallen, sun ripened.

I will go with my vase
Take water from spring.

It is made of clay
Like Khayyam’s, of Hafez.

I leave it in the hall
Cold water, teeth to fall.

I want sun; wind, breeze
To help me when sneeze
Talk to me like friends
“Drink tea and lemon, squeeze.”

Oh I burn to learn that
What is left is dream

None exists…
Things have changed
Totally…
