Total Ecllipse Of The Mind Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Total Ecllipse Of The Mind

Lonesome and forsaken in this difficult life, not knowing
where to go as moments begin to die, we're living its
width and breadth in a total eclipse of the mind.

Wishing and hoping for times that will relieve this tender
sadness that never wants to let go of this poet interiorly,
moving on, wondering how this will end when the time comes.

Simply just letting go, hoping to find the way when taking
one last breath of life on earth, knowing that God will
never let this poet down.

Writing self into a final poem, relieving the pressure of
dying and leaving life behind to those who're still living
in this mere poet's poetry.
