Torture Love Poem by Amanda Larsen

Torture Love

I ones read somewhere somewhere
a phrase that didn't speak to me
then.
It said when you're loved don't be a tyran
When you love don't be a slave...
You kill the breath that's taken for you,
My heart beats for its murderer.
I can always pretend
you can't hurt me no more.
You can always pretend
you love me.
Oh silly love that's killing logic...
Why do we love what hurts the most?
Why would you break what needs you?
Another breath, Another day
I still don't wish the pain away...
Your hurt's a part of me...
will always be.
You would not miss me
if I died today.
Though I'd trade the love of the world
for a minute of yours...
You'd never cry for me to stay...
