Too Much A Fool Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Too Much A Fool

Have I been over demanding,
With no love I show for you?
Well I...
Have been too much a fool.

Have I been misunderstanding,
And I prove that also too?
Well I...
Have been too much a fool.

There is no rhyme or reason,
Why...
I have been such a fool.

To not believe,
I...
Have been such a fool.

You can bring a horse to water,
But you can't teach it to drink.
And I...
Have been such a big fool.

I admit I can be stubborn,
And too old to learn new tricks!
But I...
Can admit I'm a fool.
Yes you...
Have seen me be a fool,
And stupid.
