Together Poem by Rodney Dufault

Together

We, together, will banish our mutual fears.
The sadness will vanish and so will our tears.
Together at last, I have found my true love.
In forgetting my past, you are all I think of.
We, together, will try to be doing our best,
we will try not to cry, give our nightmares a rest.
Together, our hearts are now beating as one.
We have picked up the parts, but our jobs are not done.
You are all that I need, for your love is forever.
Our souls have been freed and are entwined together.
