In the sparkling morning breeze
As flowers look east
I wonder if still
You look the same
Years and years
As before you did
Though my eyes do betray
And my thoughts go astray
As to what belongs
And what stays
In a lifetime
Of memories spent
Although I do not know
If I will leave
Today or tomorrow
But what I will take
Is nothing more
Than a laughter here
And a smile over there
I will not take
My riches
Or my gold
Neither my pride
Or Sorrows written in bold
