I want to write you a poem
Of hope and peace
A few words placed together
To comfort and ease

I want to write you a story
Defining the exploits
Giving a picture of adventure
For others to enjoy

I want to reach out with words
To lighten all steps
That your dreams continue on
Increasing in depth

I want you to carry every hug,
As a sympathetic soul,
Wishes of the very best health,
A companion as you go

I wish your trip the best of luck
With all ease of speed
Welcomed at each destination
Supplying every need

I wish the sun to be your friend
Smiling in your stride
Clouds traveling as companions
And rain a misty bride

I wish for many a happy moment
In all the passing days
Seeking and finding new friends
At every turn of the way
