To Teachers Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

To Teachers

Some Hurried to the assembly
in the warmth of summer
and some
through misty morning of winters,
drowsily forever.

some were kind enough to make up excuses
in their heads,
But the teachers were kind enough
to believe with them.

To Teachers,
across this world
who would with their
strict eyes
and stone cold voices
would make men and women
out of rough diamonds and jewels.

To Teachers,
who would patiently
with adoration and love
looked down upon us
and made this world
a little harder place
for the little devils
in us.

To Teachers,
of new and old
how they spend their
every moments
in dedication
to discipline our souls.

To Teachers,
and their students
who through time immortal
made this world
a better place,
for everyone.
