If you catch Covid or the flu
Please, please remember this which is true,
I did what I believe what God would want me to do
So, I wouldn't pass on Covid or the flu to anyone or you.
So, that Covid or the flu by you wouldn't be caught,
Yesterday, I proudly got the Booster shot.

I don't want you or your children ever sick
If you were, I would then pray and hope you'd get healthy quick,
So, for you and others to the arm I took a needle prick
Now that deadly virus I did patriotically kick.
Yesterday to the doctors I did proudly comply,
From a virus I don't want me or others to contact it and die.

If you ever get infected or sick or Ill
To get healthy again you take medicine either in liquid or in a pill,
If you don't get vaccinated you or a loved one the virus might kill
And then you'll be buried with the other skeptics on the hill.
So, to protect you which is in every caring person's gene,
For you and your family I took the vaccine.

I understand that you're very frightened and scared
To fight this battle you're not emotionally or physically prepared,
Into the eyes of death I once had stared
I'll take the shots for you and your family I happily declared.
Years from now when God tells me from this world to depart,
He'll know of those who I protected written in my heart.
