To Propose Poem by Noah Collins

To Propose

Oh you my love,
Whose hazel eyes soothe my sleep,
Whose voice caresses my thoughts,
Whose image beautifies my mind.

Oh how I long to hold you,
forever and evermore.
And you and I may live on,
In this willed standstill
Of all time.

You are my star,
who lights my way in the dark.
You are the wind,
That soothes my face in the heat.

You are the moon,
that lights up even the blackest night.
You are the river,
That keeps me from crossing into madness.

I need you my darling,
as you need me.
I ask you, will you spend your life
living in harmony, with me?
