To Lament Over Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

To Lament Over

To lament over!
With a vision to heal the waters;
A new man,
A new woman,
A new child! !
To rejoice and to listen;
Able to make a choice in the land.

Buzzard, cuckoo, gull and stork!
With no mercy for Mercy and, no comfort for Comfort in the land;
Paper Money may rise and fall,
However, diamonds are foever! !

Lapwing, condor, eagle and hawk!
Like a culture with a sundry advice;
Able to move you forward in life,
Like the sweetness of my homeland.

Owl, loon, pelican and whale!
With the vexations of life and of one's own labours on earth;
And, to replace some items along the line.

Herring, rockfish, trout, flounder and anchovy!
In the wilderness of wisdom that bears the works of the truth;
However, the world needs a second look when, many mouths are not fed.
