I want to really know someone
Thoughts and details of their mind
Experiences they've been through
Things they've left behind

I want to know what makes them
Smile, cry or laugh
Someone who is comfortable
Opening up about their past

Life ain't always pretty
And I think it's very rare
To find someone who'll listen
Understand and care

Deep down I want to find someone
To share my secrets with
So I won't feel so lonely
When I'm staring down the pit
