To Enter The Fight. Poem by Luke Curcio

To Enter The Fight.

When everyone sits down, I rise.

They look and wait for me to take the stand.

I am dying to get into the fight.

I have arrived.

I am here. I am not there. I am in this moment.

My mind is here, my body present.

I am sober. Fully awake.

I am now in the fight.

I walk with supreme confidence.

My head is up. Eyes locked into the hill I will take.

No more cowards. No more lies.

Truth will be told.

Christ will be glorified.

All will know. Like it or not-He reigns.

All will hear-like it or not-He is King.
