Luke Curcio Poems

Outside for a moment alone in the night, yet not without light.

The winter's chill makes all quiet.
...

Is hindsight all whats behind?

Because all I see is my past. Our past.
...

Hello October. Was it I who waited for you? Or you who waited for me?

I've grown. Years are starting to wear marks on me.
...

I saw you change. You with your failed ambitions.

Like a once green leaf, now dead by the coming of the cold.
...

You said real love will be easy.

Tomorrow for you it will be.
...

This day leaves me content.

The smiles, laughs, memories to last.
...

They say in space, no one can hear you scream.

Well I speak on earth and there is no talk amongst men.
...

I didn't want you at first.

Or you didn't want me.
...

Sometimes things don't need to end.

At least not for us.
...

Why do days feel like weeks?

When months have felt like days?
...

I never made a poem for you.

And I don't know if this counts.
...

There's a white I can disappear into. And it's right behind the trees.

Where the field was once green. I walk into the scene.
...

November I'm right at the edge. At the year end.

Just a step or two. Right there with you.
...

Before Christmas. I can fall in love.

One that will last all the year. Enduring through all my fears.
...

A raw winter scene, is heard and seen.

The cold is in my lungs. The chill on my skin.
...

A beautiful women at church.

A candy cane was given.
...

I know why I do it. Why I like it.

It's safe. Safe from they want.
...

January I'm taking a break.Time off from all before.

A long twelve months. I'll rest too in February.
...

I'm supposed to learn something in this time.

I'm gonna learn something here.
...

There's white all around me.

This storm is here for my sins.

The Best Poem Of Luke Curcio

One Winter Night.

Outside for a moment alone in the night, yet not without light.

The winter's chill makes all quiet.

My breath is shown. My problems remain. My life remains.

The town slumbers. The people dream.

The bleak roar is all around me now. The cold under my skin now.

One more moment, one more breath.

My problems leave. My life remains.
