Your smile
Your openness and strength
It bring such joy to my heart

My friend
A man so full of courage
You are a pillar
a shelter
a beloved companion

I know you don’t know this
But I love the way you make me feel
I could just sit with you in silence
No need to hold your hand
No need to touch your lips

I want those things
Yes I do
But for now
Can you sit right here
Can you be with me

Cos to be with you
Is a touch from heaven
A comfort to my soul
A blessing from above

I know we are so different
From opposite worlds
From paralleled universes
But can you sit right here next to me
I’m not asking much
