Tell me what you’re dreaming; it’d be nice to know
I want to know where you run, when you have no where else to go
& what’s your security, when there’s no one by your side?
Who’s the one in which you vent and confide?
I need some answers; I can’t fix this on my own
Probably would of ended up the same, even if I would have known
I figure nothing can hurt me, if I hurt myself first
& there’s not much you can do, when you’re eternally cursed
I know I hide behind this mask, but I can’t put it away
I just need a little insight, because no, I’m not okay
Is this hardly working or am I working hard?
Why is it that in the end, we all end up scarred?
Never say never, better yet don’t say a thing
Cause nothing last forever, I’ll just close my eyes and sing

When you hear the word love, what the first thing that comes to mind?
Where do you get your motivation, because it seems impossible to find
In the end was it worth it? And in the end did it matter?
& do these tribulations ever end, or does life keep getting sadder?
