To A Dove Poem by M Mostaqul Haque

To A Dove

[A]
Orchid on the mango tree
Like a nymph with full moon skirt
Dazzling invite of the moment
Talking with stranger breeze
How are you? My dear!
How is your mother, sea?
A flourished spring is approaching
Thrill is everywhere
How was the romance of autumn?
Harvesting is a rare game.
That sparrow, your friend and guide
Came yesterday, talked prudently
Wanted a shelter for the strong blow
Forecast that previous night.
[B]
Can’t you remember the dove? The fair dove
You loved her eyes and stared at for hours
Told me this mid-night sparrow is dead
With the heavy blow of thunder -storm
Come from the deep ocean.
Ocean never gives a caution
And nobody knows her emotion
The dove struggled much
To save the sparrow
But his way was narrow
He had lost his wife long before
Now is a kind of bohemian.
Really he is a poet, a thinker-
In the realm of wisdom is a bright star.
[c]
That day he went long way
To solve a problem for his sect
Three of them went astray
He brought them back
To establish more firmness in unity
And ensure durable strength
Mothers prayed for him and fathers
Said – bravo.
[d]
Oh! Dove, hear Dove
I offer you honest love.
