Buona Vista Poem by M Mostaqul Haque

Buona Vista

So sweet the name was! I liked it
Instantly I loved, I fall in love with
The art arrayed so enthusiastically
Like a beautiful girl with fullest youth
The vibrant spring played in my heart
Passion did not allow introducing
I smiled, her sight was bent down.

As if she was from the ancient
Buena Vista community that destroyed
A cruel tornado and the living people
Abandoned the location centuries ago
May she be from once prosperous Surry
Or the flourished homegrown courtyard -
Lanark, now are only a memory.

As if an allure of Buena Vista villas
Tulemar Beach in Costa Rica
Or a winery, popular to the majors
Like a visit to nice city in Virginia,
May be that or may not be is the same
Only a sweet search of inspiration.

Appeared from the boulevard green
Amid the crimson ray in horizon
An amazing beauty that I never saw
Approached like an ancient goddess.
I said friend, do you know the girl
Why she seems so familiar, a near one
Isn’t that an enchantment of forest
Is she Eve of Aden looking for Adam?
Roger said Singapore is a superb city
May Eva be the heart of it -
The voice was prudent enough.

How the spelling gets spellbound
To the mirror of errors in the past
Drowned in the lasting charms so sweet-
Who makes a mysterious heaven on earth?
Age passes with the living reminiscence
The shadow walks in the way of habitation.
