Tishbi Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Tishbi

My children are blessed after me,
But who can find a faithful man?
Your children are blessed after you,
But who can find a faithful woman?
For wealth brings many friends to you,
But the poor is separated from the only friend that he or she has.
You are Tishbi and you are over the walls of love,
Because the first light of dawn reflected on your muse;
And there s wise woman called out for your love.
