Tired Of Rhyme
I'm tired of writing
poems that rhyme.
Trying to put words that don't make sense together
Just to make it sound pretty.
Rhymes hold back my imagination.
Constantly looking, searching for the perfect word
Why, when I can say what I want.
In any way.
Slowly sculpting lines
without relying on the line before it.
Until a poem
is finished.
