Time Has No Place Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Time Has No Place

Time passes us by without a second thought, yet we
try to fit so many things to do in our lives, always
being too early or too late.

Finding excuses to cover ourselves, passing time when
we're older, looking back wondering why we cannot
finish what we started, because we ran out of time.

Thinking about it, time is irrelevant and meaningless,
we humans have tried to put time into our schedules
with clocks, watches and stopwatches.

Really having not caught or captured moments of time,
we just mistakenly take credit for what we've not done,
for moments cannot be managed, timed or dealt with.

Time in our lives is for a purpose we've devised our-
selves, looking back upon life, time has no place at
all when reliving our memories in senior years.
