Time Poem by J.K. Patrick

Time

Rating: 5.0

Time slowly slips away,
One Second at a time.
Tick. Tick. Tick.
Each moment passes,
Entering into unreachable territory.
What happens in each passing Second, Minute, Hour,
Day, Week, Month, Year?
Is the time put to good use?
Or is it wasted without a thought?
Time can only be used once,
For good or for ill,
To help or to hinder,
To uplift or to depress,
To progress or regress.
Give every moment meaning.
Make every moment count.
Time is Man's most valuable possession.
Don't let any of it go to waste.
Tick. Tick. Tick.

I have my own theory on time Joshua and it is that every second of our time on this planet is well spent, no matter what we do, or don't do, each second leads us on a path of our own individual destinies, I have had good reason to want to turn back time, change the past, but if I had been able to, certain things and experiences would not have occurred, even through death there is always a balance to be struck imo. I do agree that time wasters are simply wasters who are learning their own lessons in life. Smiling at you, tAi
