Tick Tock Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Tick Tock

I have reached my golden years and time, passing quickly
Finds me so often, lost in a sip of silence, thinking of what
Is to come and then find I am caught in remembrances of
Yesterday's passions resounding like an echo heard of your
Laughter which lingers still like the music from a softly strummed guitar.
