Tick Tack Poem by Mark Hopwood

Tick Tack

Time ticks
Like clunking sticks
Heavy day laid with bricks

The sun is somewhere
Behind the clouds
Waiting patiently
To breakthrough the shrouds.

To Shine so Bright
With Golden light
Then everything will be alright

The sun is out there
Behind the cloud
Waiting patiently
To shine so proud.

Time ticks
Like a pricking tack
Always look forward
Never back.
