Thunderstorm (Gogyoshi) Poem by Gert Strydom

Thunderstorm (Gogyoshi)

The smell of rain hangs in the air,
blue-white the thunder bashes down
as if something ominous are reaching down
and the dogs under the shed do howl in terror
while a thunderstorm drenches everything.
