Thunder Poem by Brennah Bailey

Thunder

It rolls in
one thousand and one
it shakes the earth
one thousand and two
a round of applause from heaven
one thousand and three
a machine bent on soaking the grass
one thousand and four
a sound so loud it reverberates in your soul
Bang! the storm hits.

Nice poem. I like how it builds up to the end just like a storm hitting. Also like the comparisons made between tunder and different things like applause from heavan. Britney
