Three Little Words

Three little words
He dared to say
Three little words
Took my breathe away
Three little words that made
My heart stop beating
Three little words
Ripped my life from its being
Three little words
Made me start to cry
Three little words
I didn't understand why
Three little words
That made me feel like a fool
Three little words
'I hate you.'

poet George Gordon Byron

It is the hour when from the boughs

Seem sweet in every whisper'd word;
And gentle winds and waters near,
