Three Little Words Poem by Kirsten Gray

Three Little Words

Rating: 4.1

He enters the room
My heart is a-flutter
One quick smile at me
And I melt like butter

What is this called
Is it love or lust
Will it stand through time,
Or blow away like dust

I hope it is love
And that it will stand
The test of time
Because he is the man

I’ve been waiting
For oh, so long
For a man like him
To come along

And every time
Those words he utters
It makes my heart
Start to stutter

I love you
Said so soft and sweet
It makes my heart
Skip a beat

I hope for us that
Forever more
Love will be
What is in store
