Three Poem by Lora Cooley

Three

By the sea there lived Annabel Lee
She lived with no other thought
Than to love
She was a child of the sea
Who loved with a love even seraphs up in heaven looked at with greed
And that was the reason they sent a wind
To shut her body and bury it in the sea
The wind came out
Stirred the air
The waves
Killing Annabel Lee
She was so strong
That neither the angels in heaven
Nor the demons in the sea
Can ever dissever the soul
Of Annabel Lee
