Then Again, Maybe You Were Right Poem by Lora Cooley

Then Again, Maybe You Were Right

I spoke too soon
You don't understand
We had no control
They stole it
Time faded out
I breathed
Watched the walls dissolve
This time I will be the only world I know
I know my heart
Set me free
I've wounds to mend
But it's too late.
