Though I Am Not A Prince Poem by Rizwanul Islam Rudra

Though I Am Not A Prince

Rating: 5.0

Though I am not a prince, I want to live again
Though I am not a poet, I want to write again.
My life is like a parrot and I never wanna skip-
From this ruled and reigned life, god promise.

I live in a broken hut, not a king's palace
Neither I am a child nor an old-at a glance;
I become hopeless when I see young men
Who are taking drugs and being drunken.

Though I am not sun rise, I am the moon shine
Though I am not spiritual pains, I am the gift of divine
My sky is always over cast with black thick clouds
I amn't waiting for a princess 'cause I have to do lots of struggles.
