Those Eyes Poem by Amanda Larsen

Those Eyes

I see those eyes
They mirror my dreams

They hurt
I taste the tears

Like the deepest lake
Her soul
Partly mysteriously hidden in the dark water
Partly clearly visible on the calm surface
My desperate try to read her
To understand

I see those eyes
The flawless beauty
She suppresses under all her imperfections
I see them as rights

Her complex thoughts
Show her rare maturity
Though young she's wise
Though grown she's childlike

I see those eyes
I feel, I burn
I love those eyes.
