Those 3 Little Words! Poem by Emma Jane Rae

You touched my heart,
with the words you said,
it was no plan,
to get me into your bed,
at first i held back,
i didnt believe what i heard,
when you whispered,
those 3 little words,
i knew how you felt,
and i knew it was true,
i so wanted to say it back to you,
but something in my head,
was shouting STOP don't say it,
your heart is fragile,
and he may break it,
but i held out and told you,
when i felt the time was right,
i told you one morning,
as you drove out of sight,
the lumps on our throats,
and the tears in our eyes,
it felt so hard to say our goodbyes!
i knew in that moment,
that we were meant to be,
i hope you know,
how happy you make me!
